Thrifting Weekend Challenge

Over the past month or so I have been selling some of my stuff along with other thrifted treasures I have found in good/great condition on ebay to help fund my thrifting problem (hehe ;).  This weekend I wanted to see if I might be able to make steady side income off of my love for garage saling.  So I set myself a budget of $20 to see what I could buy and then list on ebay.  As I am still new to all of this I am still learning the ins&outs of selling items on ebay.  After stopping by two garage sales and $54 less in my pocket my garage saling for the day was complete.  Of the $54 spent, $27 of that was spent on myself for a cool turtle canvas photo that they were selling at one of the garage sales and a waterproof backpack made out of wet okole material for future kayak adventures. So with the remaining $26 I was able to get 17 items to sell at one sale at $1/piece and 14 pieces of clothing for $5/bag and two pairs of men's flip-flops for $2/piece at the other sale.  I am going to list each of the items over the next few days.  But I just wanted to share some of the wonderful treasures I found over the past weekend.
Included in the 17 items for $1/piece were some new with tags women's shirts, Hawaiian aloha attire, a pair of tom's and a pair of nikes.  Below are pics of some of the items I think will sell and each of them were purchased for $1.
Banana Republic NWT Coral Button Down - $1.00
 J Crew Cotton Blouse - $1
 Red Women's Toms Size 7 - $1

With my previous finds I got this vintage coach leather bag from our local savers for $35.  I've been sporting this nice little treasure for the last few weeks.

I would love to hear about any of your stories of selling items on ebay as well as any of the thrifted treasures people found over the past weekend.   And if you're interested in any of the items for sale please check out my listing under the seller names of kamokuthrifters2013, hilolove, and asit5672.  Due to selling limits my mom opened up an account to help me sell some of my stuff as well.  Looking forward to hear some of your stories.....Stay tuned for the results of my weekend thrift challenge.
